Problem: Action is still way high

The relief I got on the neck is still not enough to cope with the 3/4" bridge height.

Diane, the tailpiece / bridge shows here http://www.cigarboxnation.com/photo/fingerboard-3. I may end up switching to a smaller bridge, indeed.

Diamondback: I'm thinking I will have to file down either the top of the bridge, or the feet, or both. If I can get it down to 1/2" in height, I think the thing may be more playable.

Can you go with a smaller bridge? Do you have a picture of the body?

put notches in the bridge. or hollow out a spot for a saddle and put notches it that.

or only play lap style
