Thanks for that and the couple of tips on possible tail pieces. I made five or six of my first three stringers with the corroded copper pipe. A lot of work, but I like the way it looks and fits my love of using as much used stuff to build it with as I can.

cool tailpiece., before I had this pile of steamer leafs to use up I would make mine from duct work scraps.,,. easy to work with and free.,
