RTL Fret markers - Commercial Sign Vinyl

I get many compliments on my fret marks.
This is the way I do them. I went to a Sign Shop and asked them to cut small squares and dots ( 1/8", 3/32", 1/4 ") in some scrap Window vinyl. I asked for several colors, some reflective material. They were able to use scrap ends and it was only 25$ for a life time's supply.

I also rub the wood with alcohol just before applying the vinyl. I then use Howards wax and feed over all the wood and the commercial grade adhesive backed vinyl holds well.
