The rock saddle rally adds some "bite", I had a metal (screw) and a wooden bridge on it but this beats it all !
I'm thinking about making some more stone bridges, problem is you have to find some rather flat stones that you can adjust to have an "edge " for your strings.
My first build, it started as a 6 string cgb but was worthless. I changed it into a 4 string lapsteel. Bottleneck and F soundholes, stone bridge, steel nails as "frets". Believe me it has the devil inside !
It's not primitive on purpose, I still have to learn a lot. I'm the proud owner of two left hands.
