Antiqued neck. Started by staining the whole thing jet black, then sanded lightly with a 220 and stained it again with Amber stain. it really looked cool.

    Steve-it's a water based dye stain. I used ebony and it was black as black can get. Only problem is, I had taped off so that it would only stain the fretboard but it ran something awful. so, I turned a mistake into an opportunity and just stained the whole thing black. Then, i sanded it and went over it with another color. Bought the stain at WoodCraft btw.

    Very, very cool. Where'd you get the black stain? I can't wait to try this on one of my builds!
