solid oak, through neck and piece on each side to give it that sort of cbg thing. peduc fretboard and birch inlays for frets. it sounded not bad lol

Bill, its beautiful. Looks like it sounds great. What tuning do you use? I love your inlayed fret markers. Very clear. I just got an Airline lap today. It's from the late 50s and sounds great. Lounge lizard sound. I'm loving the old laps and use them for models to try my own. I just got a beautiful poplar body blank today. It's 2 inch plus thick and about 8 wide. It will be #21 for me. I'm finishing #20 diddley bow soon.
