1 1/2 x 1 1/2 poplar neck with recycled semi trailer flooring to complete the body. Streaked the poplar with ebony stain to mimic the distressing of the floor; coated all with gunstock stain and 3 layers of spray clear lacquer finish.

    Ha!   Bill - the flatpup is sweet.  I'd highly recommend giving them a try.  Elmar has a sale on 2 three-strings for $50 incl shipping to USA, thru end of this month.   originalflatpup.com, I think.

    I have to figure out the best way to relate my "Reverend Bluejeans" alias.....  It's a good story, in my opinion!   Thanks for the positive comments!
