  • Thanks Al! There were a couple of reasons... it's primarily to try and get the closest to full-scale-length like a standard guitar, and the table legs I all seem to be only 28" long; although these fellas look small, doing it this way the scale length is approx 23 1/2", ie about the same as a Fender jaguar. I'm coming at this from a background in Archtop Guitar construction, and as these have floating bridges, It's also to do with maintaining a downward pressure on the bridge... and frankly, there may be a bit of sheer perversity involved too! Ha!
  • I love all these guitars. They look great. How come you chose to put the tuners at the lower end? Is there a construction consideration for it? Love the pics too.
