Nearing finished

My soundholes are made by my belt sander. They provide bowing cutouts so you can reach the bass and treble strings without hitting the body. The fingerboard and bridge, pegs, all come from China. I painted the head scroll with oil paints in thin washes of yellow ochre, Venetian red and burnt umber.

Thanks J.D. I'll be finding my rosin and sawing away for a sound track for a fiddling lumberjack I'm building. I've made several bowed fiddles, violas, cellos. They all sound very different.
