  • This was actually John "Red Dog" Mcnairs build... I just own and play it! I don't know exactly what the hardwares origin is, but if it helps the whole assembly is screwed through the lid, right into the neck, the saddles have springs for adjustability, and the strings run through the body... it has a strat style cover over the ball ends. You can take the 2 center ones out and put one back in dead center to make it a proper 3-string... there are 5 slots at the nut. Trust me on this, by the way... my own work doesn't last long enough for me to bother photographing!
  • Browsing through all the photos, really like this one.  Are those bass guitar saddle/bridge units?  Any close-up photos of how you mounted them?
  • a Beaut!! I think i love all CBG's, natural wood so pretty, original art festooned, , decoupaged, cigar labels on, or just plain primitive, they are all beautiful.
  • Handsome!
