  Thank you for the compliment, Uncle John. The wood is red oak. The inlays for the fret markers are 1/4" dowel. I really appreciate you comments. Thanks again, and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

  I would not change one thing.  Top to bottom good.  Love the fingerboard.  What is that wood?  Well, on second thought, I would rather have it be a three.  Then I'd never let go of it.  Nice headstock design.
