My first fretted CBG

This is my first attempt at a fretted CBG.Lots of mistakes along the way but I'm quite pleased with the result.Neck blank from Chickenbone John, wood for fretboard from Roosterman and excellent 3 string pickup from Juju.

  • Thanks for the feedback. I'll try and put a vid together over the xmas hols so you can hear what she sounds like :).

    Eric - For the sound holes I've used a couple of large diameter eyelets I bought from someone on ebay and then I cut an old brass stencil in half and glued each piece behind the holes.
