  • Belfast Guy, thank you for such nice words. I really appreciate this. To be honest I've never worried about the problem you've mentioned. During the playing I can't feel any difference. Maybe because I do not use long slide. I play with the short one for one or two string at once. My friend who owns this CBG at this moment is using it every day and never complained so maybe you should not worry. Have fun and greetings. PS. sorry for delayed answer but I was on a vacation.

  • Nice work! Quick question though as I am thinking of building a hybrid - if you're playing slide and the bass string is thicker, how do you get the slide to hit all the strings? Does the bass string not prevent the slide contacting the next lower string?
