Yep, the frame is an old tobacco box. As far as the pickup... primarily it's going to played acoustically. I had planned on making a microphone-based pickup that would sit under the cone. But as I neared completion on this one I didn't want to try something I hadn't tested before since this was a build for someone else. I still plan on trying it in a test-build soon. Plus Flatpups rock!

Knowing the flat pup, how do you get the res-cone to amplify or does transfer sound some how?
