Next time I think I'll add a few dowels or a biscuit to the joint. This was just the chunk I cut off the top glued back on the other side. I planned on it only being decorative so the glue only joint didn't worry me. But I ended up having to move that 3rd tuner kind of far over and it's right on the joint, so now I wish I had made the joint stronger. Not sure what the angle I used is, it was just as far as I could get the square on my table saw to go.
