Comment by Michael J. Latoski on January 24, 2010 at 6:50am: i make all my slides from wine bottles now , came up with an excellent way to hack em off and smooth em out . i'm a toolmaker by trade and must agree with andy , an accident waiting to happen , saftey first ! glasses and hair ties !

Btw, those brass slides, are those machined down from brass plumbing pipe
