Gluing the top in place. Sometimes when you don't have enough clamps... bricks will make do.

    Many years ago I had bricks recommended as weights/clamps for fixing bridges to harpsichord soundboards. For that particular application they were wrapped in protective scrap plastic shopping bags.

    Worked well for me too!
