I much prefer point to point, you can keep connections as short as possible and it allows you to be more creative than just following a tag strip layout which restricts what you can build in.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I love vintage tube gear, even more so homebrew tube gear! I had some experience with point to point tube gear although its ham radio stuff all same basic principle. Great work man! I recently converted an old tube amp from an old organ to guitar use, sounds pretty good. Maybe i'll rustle through my stocks and do a project like this some day!
