I've messed arround all day but I think I've got it , i've gone for a 5th 4th and 3rd string and tuned to GDG sounds good and clear and pick up howls! I will try to do a vid tomorrow.
This guitar is way too good for my limited tallent - think i will be selling it for someone else to get the best out of it. I guess it should be popular as there ain't many CBGs with an original JuJu 3 string pick up in!
Cheers mate glad your pleased with the pickup - knowing what strings and tuning to use is always a hard one for me too - but i have just scored five sets from a guy on ebay five sets of 10's for £9 deliverd (and a free set of bronze wound acoustics) thought it was a pretty good deal myself let me know if your intrested in any i'll send you his details
