maple neck is fretless, burned in frets and markers. this is the only disappointment with this build as they are a bit sloppy and there are a couple mistakes. considering adding real frets now.

Larry, this is my first build, a lovable mess really. you saw the second one with the padron box, a much better-playing guitar, but not much as an acoustic. I like the little vox. solid amp, plenty of volume, lots of noise by turning up the gain if you want it, pretty good tremolo.
So I think this is the guitar I saw in York? Very nice work. Aroma de Cuba boxes make for really beautiful instruments. I have a Vox amp myself and I'm really please with the sound.
Thanks, guys. I'm pretty happy with it. I bought a little Vox pathfinder 15r amp ($119 at the local shop) and it sounds fantastic through it. A guitar playing coworker tried to dissuade me today from fretting it. Thought it was very nice as is for slide. Maybe I'll save the frets for the next build.
