well the point was the pup must have been assembled in two parts ...passing it through the 'shoe' and then putting the top of the pup on ...

your photo btw hangs in the ....

about2 years ago a friend said I could have the japanese tele copy that was in his lorry abandoned at the bottom of his woodland. last week we went down to pick it up. Barn owls had been nesting in it and had crapped all over the guitar  ,anyhow the neck is ok but the rest needs a bit of attention.. odd bit is the bridge pickup won't come out without sawing up the bridge ! weird way to install a pickup eh ?
