  • very pretty Dave. Impressive. i'll send one of my thin pieces for a riser. that is so sweet!

  • Beetle, Sugar? My, my. I have my daily requirement of the sweet one.  I hade a coke today at dinner at an Asian restaurant. And a candy from the candy shop. And jelly on toast. And ginger snaps with my coffee. Oh, and a small milk shake. But I don’t have a problem.

  • if its sounds good than no worries....if it ant broke don't fix it!

cept' fer maybe my diet...I basically eat sugar all day...hey its what I do : )

  • I love Mike Orr fretboards. I’ve used more of his boards than any other. I have only had to dress the fret ends after i’ve Sanded the neck sides to take off the glue seam. Never had to level his fret job. I can’t say a bad word on his work Jerry.

Wow Beetle. It sounds great. I don’t need louder. It’s a hot pup. I could use a riser to bring it closer to the strings. But that’s for later. I like to slowly file the notches in my wood bridges till I get the action I like. I’m getting close to where I want the action. I’m tuned in CGC withe BGD strings. I love it Beetle.

  • Thanks AGP. It’s a Nut Goodie.

  • "Classy Build Old Timer"   :-)

  • Super sweet Dave.,!  I used one of those Mike Orr fretboards and I'm hooked.., The craftsmanship was so good I didn't even have to level the frets.,.,perfect right out of the gate.,.,!!

  • If you capped the bridge or had the strings ride over a hard material like bone to will sound louder, having acoustic strings rest on top of  wood will make it not as loud as it could be....I love it its a strummer!

  • Thanks Bones. Thanks Ambrose. The pickup is very special to me. It’s powerful and beautiful. The name fits me.

  • Very nice Dave .
