  • I think is just a two pole jack. The ground always goes to the pole connected to the inner ring . This connects to the long shaft of the plug. The bent tip of the metal comes in contact with the isolated knob at the end of the plug. On a two pole jack it's always the pole isolated from the center metal part of the jack.

  • I think I got it right with the arrow colors. However, I got sound plugged in with it connected both ways.

The tabs are about the same size except for the obvious squared end on one of 'em.

  • The tab connected to the metal inner sleeve is the Ground, the other tab  is the Hot. The other longer metal tab is the contact for the cord input.

  • Oh!  The dreaded and complicated 3 pole jack!

Two pole jacks are perfect for an electronics dunce like me.   I recall trying to wire a  3 pole and having to call Gitty for help  - and still not understanding it.  But it worked.  If nobody gives you a good answer, call Gitty on Monday.   (Whether you bought it from him or  not.)
