I've got a turpentine can on the bench that isn't together yet. Ill post a. Few photos on how the neck will fit and be fastened this eve. I'm doing the string mounting a little different on it.
Take your time cutting into the can. I used a dremel with a small cut off wheel. You can always fine tune it with a hand file. I've messed up a few tin boxes by over cutting to fit the neck. I would also suggest putting the neck all the way thru the can so sting replacement isn't a huge undertaking. Fishing the wiring thru a few small holes can be pretty frustrating. Have fun with that!!! I really love the sound I tin cans. They buzz an rattle in cool ways.
