Flock of Turkeychicken

My first 5 builds, from top to bottom. The bottom two were mistakes that I salvaged. I thought that I was building on a 24.5" scale only to learn the hard way that I was working a 27" scale. It all turned out and I now know all about jigs...Lotta lessons learned on my journeys.

  • Thank you, thank you. These were my first five builds. They all played fine and sounded decent, but I made a lot of mistakes along the way that I had to correct or cover up. I have learned alot from each build, and think to myself "the next one will be perfect!", but then find other ways of making errors. It is frustrating at the time, but so long as I learn from my mistakes then I can accept it. So far everything I have built has gone out the door, so when I finally get caught up on orders I should know what I am doing to be able to build myself a real nice instrument.
