  Got that right, any day I wake up is a beautiful day.  No sense in wasting it walking around looking grumpy.

  Had my beard in one trim or another since 1969, so I guess it could be said I am committed to it.  Our son turns 46 this year and the only time he has seen me without a beard is in old photographs.
