Way cool Nick! Another option (dobro-like sound) would be a metal box underneath. Cold on your pants but cool sound I'll bet. Another option would be wood sides but metal bottom, a tad warmer sound but still in the ballpark of a resonator guitar. Nice, thanks. -Glenn
Yeah i saw those at lowes the other day....saw a brass one 6" x 12" . Only problem there`s no solid top...bad for a gooid sound. But a piece of thin wood 1/16" or 1/8" would fix that, i`d put it up underneath so the grill is still exposed. Just cut out certain spaces for soundholes....maybe one of these days i`ll go buy one and try it....
