  • Yeah lots of neck angle, did't really know what I was getting into . Spent a lot of time just setting this thing up! But I did discover a real cool little device that I'm building real cheap to sit on top of the bridge handle that will take care of my my final innotation and string height adjustment's (just hope that transfers all the good vibes to the handle?). I really look forward to the day I can play it!
Building it for my kid (and of course he wanted a 4 string fretted) which makes it twice as challenging! If it been a 3 string fretless ... It would have been done by now!
  • Sorry to hijack your photo thread, Chris; sweet build! Wish I had my Mom's old Galaxies 500 hubcaps. UJ, when you get in the mood for the VW build, PM me. I had a '67, which I learned on (full engine rebuild) and a '73 SuperBeetle that I turbo'd. It could keep up with a Trans Am on the flat to about 130...
  • I would bet on it.   Nice angle on the neck.  I did not think or attempt to do that on mine.

I have a nice VW hubcap in the shop.   Someday I will get in the mood to use it.  Then likely would sell it.

  • Thanks Uncle John! I hope that 8 ohm bridge lipstick pickup from a Strat was good?
  • Looking VERY good.   I hope it is a winner and you do not have to Fix Or Repair Daily.

  • yup!

  • Standard 25" scale using Hickory for neck. 8 ohm Strat Lipstick pickup.
