That might work J. I can usually make 5 or so in a day without working too hard. I do dulcimer fretting on mine so it's a lot fewer frets than on a git. And they sound pretty cool acoustic.
Yup, I've always found the fretted ones to be better sellers. As for pricing, I keep everything under $200 and have a range of prices from 10 bucks for my spoons, $30 for a canjo, 50 to 85 for stick dulci's $100 - 150 for fretless 3 strings and so on. People often want to buy something but balk at stuff close to $200. I almost always sell out of spoons!
J Rob - If you glue on a separate fretboard, the 1/16th bow will likely be removed assuming you glue up on a flat surface. Here's an example picture.
Also, I've had the same question about fretless CBG's selling at craft shows. I think some folks are intimidated by the prospect of playing with a slide... even if you demo it!
My thing is that some of the neck blanks are a tad bowed about a 16th not bad for a non fretted guits but could mess up a fret or two on a fretted box. So should i build non fretted? there are always plenty of craft shows around to set up a booth. But will non fretted sell? What is a good fair price?

There's a place near me that makes hardwood pallets with similar piles. I haven't pulled anything from there yet but it's bound to happen!
