My rough sketch of a design courtesy of Chickenbone John, and it works a treat! Made out of a length of oak for the upright, scrap pine and a walnut off-cut for the side plates and foot, some stainless screws and washers I had to hand (posh!!), a scrap of high density packing foam, a small brass hinge, a tea towel and an old tie down strap from a Yamaha shipping crate from when I worked in the motorcycle trade.
