Interesting. I don't think it would sound great acoustic with the bridge on the glass or poly, but........ Heck, I might try it.
several cigar makers have a similar box. Looks cool, but I bet the bottom of the box has better resonant properties.
But I say go for it. I'd like to try an Ant Farm guit.,.,
