  • Thanks Unc! Silvertone was a Sears brand name for guitars and electronics back in the day. Guitars under the Silvertone name were made by Kay, Harmony, Teisco, Danelectro, and others. Guitars made by Danelectro featured lipstick pickups. This is the original headstock shape featured on the Silvertone "amp in case" guitar line
  • That looks great, but the head stock!   Does it work okay like that?  Did it come that way?  I've never seen one.   Silvertone.    Sears.   Early on, made in Chicago by Harmony.  Please don't get me in the mood for old gits!

  • Thanks Richey! I know what you mean, I go through long periods where I don't pick up a six string much too. This one's got me back at it!
  • Well that's pretty cool. I started picking up some of 6 stringers for the first time in years recently. Was fun! Nice work 162
