I found this license plate and had to make a cbg out of it..I didn't want to cut any holes in the plate for an electric pick up so just used a Piezo under the lid..Budwieser bottle cap for the volume control..Then shaped a Harley logo for the headstock and made a decal for it..

It sounds really good for not having any sound holes to the outside, that is amazing. Mr Cash would be proud, he most likely walked into Sun Records in Memphis with something like this who knows. Anyway nice build and thank you for your time.
Hi Keith..I put the piezo under the lid directly under the bridge..I thought it would be too tinny sounding if I put it under the plate itself..It still picks up good..I put a clip on youtube with it so you can go see what it sounds like if you want..I don't play for caca but you will get the idea of the sound anyway..Go to - youtube.com/jimscbgs............Thanks for the comment and good luck building yours..Jim
God dude this is awesome, Did you have to cut a hole under the plate to get the piezo to work, or just place the plate over the whole box...? Nice work/ I am starting one that is the reason for the question.
