  Thanks john inspiration  from a working visit to a racing track to fill there lpg tanks. It was on an old airfield that was used for bomber crew training during ww2. The old guy that looked after the place told me the history of it including the high number of deaths among the crews to to the exposed position of the hilltop runway, wind and inexperience took it's toll. These were mainly 18 and 19 year old boys buried in the village churchyard grouped by date into crews, a sad sight. The place is called darleymore in Derbyshire.
