30" Short-Scale Bass with LaCuesta "Ambassador" display case for body, 1960's Vox-style neck and cello-inspired headstock. I'll be making my own "doodle bass" strings with grommet ball-ends. Fishman MKAB bass piezo and preamp will be fitted.This is my glue-up of the 3-laminated neck boards. These are 3/4x1-1/2 red oak floor boards, with half-inch slices cut away from the soundboard, and allowing a steel-rod neck truss.I don't have a rip-fence for my sabre saw - so I sliced slots with Dremel cutting disc.
