Gandpa's violin

A violin from about 1880. Dad brought it to me in pieces with many serious cracks in the top. 2 yr. project came out nice.

  • Good job ...old instruments are funny I have watched their players abuse the hell.out of them and they seem to take it and ask for more let them sit unloved for years or decades and they fall apart from heartache and lonliness..tell me that the spirit of the player don't give them life.

  • Nice Gary. I've brought several fiddles back to life. It feels good! Good job! I like those "factory" mechanical tuners too. Easy to tune and no need for fine tuners.
