  I'm building a fretless right now. I plan to keep it simple by fingering notes up to the. 5th position and sliding up the neck. I've tried that and it's not too difficult to keep in tune with fingering. Low action by the nut and high at the bottom of the board for slide work. Without frets a slide works great.

  Cheers, folks! Fretless is alot harder to play than I was expecting. I'll be annoying the neighbours for while.
