Hehe yeah i know the feeling. Did you know i use steel wire for strings? That Thick wire is actually from a bicycle tire. Had to take all the rubber off. Stiff wire, snaps when you bend it to sharp.
Hi Uncle John, yes the great thing that i can adjust the height. On a fretted guitar i can set the strings higher for slide playing. I can also set height of strings individually.
Gees! I just used slotted head screws for the nut on a diddley and thought of using them for a 2, 3, or 4 string. I'd never seen it done. And here you have done it!
