I have wound some like that. I really like the sound of them and sometimes the addition of windings doesn't improve the quality of sound. In those case I use a Dunlop Custom Audio Electronics Line Driver. Sometime you want the shimmer more than the output. Or go like the lace and add a preamp stage.
thanks Don! The output level is a bit weaker than the usual Flatpup; I think of putting more windings the next time. Let's wait for the customer's comment ;-)
