Firstborn - Inside

I relieved the through-neck so that the top could fully vibrate and support the top at the ends. That left it thin, so I glued the cutout onto the back. It's still thinner than I wanted it right at the neck joint.The pickups are from buzzers wired in parallel, attached with foam tape and with a little puddle of hot glue on the back. They sound really strong - right under both ends of the bolt bridge.

  • That's good work on the relief. Mine looks like widdled out with a dull pocket knife. The dual piezos are a nice touch. Nice looking build.
  • Oops - my mistake they are wired in parallel. I've fixed the description. The volume is good!
  • NICE WORK!That recessed are so the lid can vibe is great. Dual piezos are nice. If you find you don't get the volume you want, try wiring in parallel.
