I relieved the through-neck so that the top could fully vibrate and support the top at the ends. That left it thin, so I glued the cutout onto the back. It's still thinner than I wanted it right at the neck joint.The pickups are from buzzers wired in parallel, attached with foam tape and with a little puddle of hot glue on the back. They sound really strong - right under both ends of the bolt bridge.

    That's good work on the relief. Mine looks like widdled out with a dull pocket knife. The dual piezos are a nice touch. Nice looking build.

    Oops - my mistake they are wired in parallel. I've fixed the description. The volume is good!

    NICE WORK!That recessed are so the lid can vibe is great. Dual piezos are nice. If you find you don't get the volume you want, try wiring in parallel.
