First time binding

Plastic binding from stewmac. I'm going to try a flat black fade around the edges, and then flat clear to finish it.

    Ha! I did the same thing on one of the pics I commented on. It's 11"x15".

    It's plywood, I think poplar. It's an old silverware box I got from ebay so I'm not sure. I'm not familiar with a lot of woodworking or luthier lingo, so I'm not sure what a bob is. But the binding is 1/4 inch x 1/16.
