Im thinking about leaving the rubber on it and incorparating the color into the neck.

Thanks Paul. My idea is the rubber will help keep the sound in the box. Im anxious myself. So much so that I dont want to work on it for fear of rushing it. I might try installing it in a cheap cardboard box first to hear it.

Seems to me the rubber would reduce the sound, but than again maybe it will impreove it. I'm anxious to hear how it ruens out. Looks nice.
