Brass Texan Cone with sapele, maple and rosewood biscuit. Double over size F-Hole box with matt vintage stain finish. Custom decals. Maple neck with rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl markers and aged copper effect tuners. Single neck pickup, poker dice volume and tone. I have also made a pickguard from an old cigar box you’ll see in one photo, this hasn’t been fitted yet as it’s personal taste and someone may prefer it without. Shack hinge and Sheriff badge tail piece. Box is lined with an aged look music score of Great Big Candy Mountain, visible through F-holes

  • Thanks a lot Carl. Yup thats an old lowe cone alright. I make the Pigsquealer pickups, I usually make them with with wooden bobbins and then wind them on a converted sewing machine. This one I made with a Tele bobbin and scatter wound it.
