Hi Diane - your right you'd think it was simple just applying what you know from a regular guitar to one thats laid down - well it dont work for me at all - maybe i'll try and make- get a stand so i can sit at it instead of on the lap maybe that will help ?

I'm playing a mountain/lap dulcimer now, and I agree -- it is a whole different kettle of fish. Everything is upside down and facing the wrong way. It is taking me a while to get the hang of it, for sure. No way I'd even play in public, much less record anything!
haha -What can't juju do ? - well i'll tell ya PLAY - just dont seem to be able to get to grips with the Lap style of playing - think this is gonna be for sale soon if my lap style dont improve !

Thanks Buffalo John - tried to make a video last night but it just was not flowing sounded crap so i scrapped it - i'll keep tryin and post one as soon as i'm happy with my playing :-)

Hey Fernando - yep mate it works real good should have made one ages since - has a great sound due to the Weight and loads of sustain - i'm most pleased with it - now if i could only play !
