After a couple of years of building with wall-wart wire and neodymiun buttons...Six different sizes and types of ooooooooo - real pickup magnets and ooooooooo - real wire ferules and 32, 35 and 42AW magnet wire... - oooooooooo. (Grins)

Thanks Ray - I don't like to build wall-hangers, but I made an exception for this one! I like how it turned out. (anon pic) - Yep - a good old rusty barbed-wire fence a friend dug up for me out in her woods. "If the barbs don't get ya, the tetanus will!"
Actually it kinda did once . True story , I was working on a Texas chainsaw massacre theme guitar once and had a butchers apron as the guitar strap . with blood (red paint splatter ) on it and bloody hooks as the strap endpins . I had hung it on my cloths-line to dry , and some passerbyer saw it and was concerned, and called the cops . lol.
I was looking for a picture of him building a bomb , but the guys in the black suv showed up at my door (again) as soon as I typed it in , so I had some splainin to do ,, and some bribes , so this post cost me a case of scotch and 2 guitars . ;-/

nah rev , its just a bike chain , pretty smooth and safe .. it just looks mean .. yours is the real deal . i aint sliding on that . lol.
