Yeh thanks I like it...like the idea of them fat tiesco pups though ...will see what fits

I was thinking of making an L shape to tuck in front of the neck with a flat pup on some rosewood and a ebony piano key. Then maybe a rosewood neck cover to hide the oak tin join..

i  actually  put the 2x4  right  under the   lid    flush  ..  everything  else  is  basicly    top    mounted .  including the    neck  . save   for  the  thickness  of the  tin .  and i  cranked  up  the   pickups as  high as they  would  go  .
