  • Keith, sorry I just now noticed your question... I haven't been around much lately, I'm a new granddad and I have been doing a lot of building as well...as I recall it played very well I liked it a lot....however like almost all of my stuff it was sold along the way to someone that couldn't wait.... I hate to say it but I think I have about 10 builds around here now. As of this moment I am playing mostly 4 string resos that I am building out of wine boxes.... Worse than that I am cheating because I can't find anymore of the two bottle boxes so I'm making them myself.. Man thats a bunch of work those finger joints take time... LOL but hey thats why we do it, time in the shop right? Take care.....

  • how does it play good?

  • Funny this is an oldie but a goody I built back in 2011. It's not a locking nut the brass and screws are there to keep the strings in place. I do not clamp down on the strings at all. I was looking for a way to control cost on my builds and a friend of mine reminded me about the 0 fret guitars so I thought I would try it. It really didn't save that much time and while I am happy with the results. It remained somewhat controversial with some players but works out fine..... Thanks for the comments
