    Dave, you are correct.  Well....actually the top was welded and the back was silver soldered.  thanks and glad you enjoyed.

    I'll try to dig out some of the early steel fab shots off my other computer for you both later this week.  It's pretty crazy now that I think back on her very humble beginnings...

    Wow, great seeing the interior. Do i see welds where the kerfing would be in wood? Awesome like Wayho says. Thanks for the step by step. Love that neck too. Art for sure.

    Thanks Wayho.  I must have deleted the early stage shots from my iPhone during the last firmware update but here's a few.  They include some various shots of the neck and finger board, a UFO, a couple peeks inside and an earlier version tailpiece and a resonator cover I decided against:  Enjoy!

    Exactly like that song! Hey, now that I think of it, I originally picked her up in the alley behind the hardware store!!!! Well, the water heater she's made out of anyway! ;-}. She wasn't near as purty way back then.
