Digging out the old builds

Got this one out today, cleaned it up and put some new strings on it, This one is a favorite build. Old mahogany humidor box with a tapered neck and 1/2" Corian fret board. My first mojobone piezo bone bridge and a new addition a DB hand wound pup. 29" scale length with dulci fretting.

  • Yeah John is has a great voice,  built it back in 2009 just needed a good clean up and some new strings.

  • Cool finger board.  Historic saddle.  Vintage nose hair cutters.  Cool box.  I believe this type of sound hole and general neck design yields the best acoustic sound.
