I guess I should add that the finish is just 3 coats of clear Deft spray on lacquer too! No staining or tricks to bring out the stripe.
It's tiger stripe maple. Get it from a guy by the name of Bob Kloes in Wisconson. He has sent me some killer tiger stripe, birdseye maple and flame beech. Really like working with this stuff but it can be hard on the tools.
Is it Curly maple?
